About Me
Hello, my name is Brinna. Welcome to my website! I am a fourth year Journalism student at Rochester Institute of Technology with a minor in Business Marketing and an immersion in Women and Gender Studies. This website has some writing samples, photos and videos that I have created throughout my four years at RIT.

I am very passionate about writing and story telling. I love photography and think social media and multimedia platforms are a great tool in today's news world.

Along with being a Journalism student at RIT; I am also a member of the division one women's hockey team on campus. Playing division one hockey has taught me the importance of work ethic, being a good teammate, time management, and how to tackle any task in the face of both success and adversity.

My plan after graduating from RIT is to return to Minnesota and pursue a career where I can apply my skills as a writer along with my niche for social media and my artistic eye.

For MMAF I used multiple social media platforms to improve the organizations social media marketing strategy, used graphic design techniques to create media materials for evens and wrote a monthly newsletter to keep followers and members involved in MMAF.

Update RIT sports rosters, statistics and other information for RIT sports teams. Real-time game statistics for sports like hockey, lacrosse, soccer, etc.

RIT Love Your Melon Crew Captain
(Love Your Melon is a non-profit organization that supports pediatric cancer research and children and families who are battling pediatric cancer.)
As RIT's crew captain I am in charge of Love Your Melon at RIT. I oversee all events, social media pages and crew member.
